Lookin to join a club 

The wife and I are lookin to join a club.  We just got into cycling and are not fast etc.  We have comfort bikes and road bikes.  Lookin to get the ticker in shape ater a heart attack in march this year.  We are mid 40's

 

Any advice or contacts to get started would be great

My wife and I are looking to join a club also.   Our concern is the speeds and distances of the rides.  Just getting back into this ourselves.  We have been mapping local paths.  We are not currently into the Mountian Bike trails, just the hard packed paths.  Our plans are the Southeastern MI and Traverse City area paths.  Just found this site and want to read more about the club.   Current I'm thinking our average speed is about 10! and our distance is about the same!  Newbies!
