It's time to get those dusty, outgrown bikes cluttering up the garage out to the nearest Home Depot store! Free Bikes 4 Kidz is gearing up to begin our fall bike collection and we're partnering with Home Depot once again. This year's collection will take place on Saturday, October 1 from 9a - 2p at participating Home Depot stores across southeast Michigan, Lansing and Ann Arbor (go to fb4kdetroit.org/locations to find the nearest store near you). Volunteers will be available onsite to help you unload the bike(s) from your vehicle.

This Christmas, we want to give 4,000 kids a chance to get a beautiful bike with a new helmet and a chance to experience the joy of their first bike ride.

Kids grow like weeds and did you know that every year 8 million bikes in the US are outgrown? The vast majority of those are just sitting in garages across the country. FB4K wants to keep all those bikes out of the landfill, clean and fix 'em up and give them to a child with a brand new helmet. It's a win-win-win...less stuff in the landfill, less clutter in your garage and a new bike for a child that needs one! Not to mention the whole community coming together to help clean and repair those bikes - 1,575 volunteers from all walks of life last year alone.

So help us get a child started on a healthier, happier childhood with a bicycle this Christmas by bringing your used bikes to a Home Depot store near you - and spread the news to your neighbors...thank you for helping us give away more than 7,300 bikes since 2018 Detroit!
