The 20th Annual Celebration of Cycling Ride will be held on September 8th, 2012 starting at Warrendale Shelter in Hines Park (check out the maps below!). When Celebration of Cycling began 20 years ago, it was the only fully inclusive ride in the Michigan. Celebration of Cycling is PEAC’s annual fundraiser, an opportunity for us to celebrate the accomplishments of our program participants and our common bond and joy – cycling! Routes range from a traffic-free 12-mile course to a challenging century. This ride is truly for everybody, including competitive cyclists and families.
Date: Saturday, September 8th, 2012
Starting Time: Registration begins at 7:30 am and ends at 1:00 pm. Century riders must register by 10:00am. We will have a mass start time at 10 am that includes members of the Disability Hall of Fame, our Summer Program Students, paralympians, and local celebrities.
Starting Point: Warrendale Shelter at Hines Park, Dearborn Heights, MI. This location is near Outer Drive and Hines Drive. From 94: Take Telegraph N. Right on Warren. Warrendale will be on the left a half mile from Warren. From 96: Telegraph S. Michigan left on to Warren. Warrendale will be on the left a half mile from Warren.
