The Slow Spokes Annual Picnic is set for Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Dodge Park Pavilion #2. Dodge Park is in Sterling Heights on Utica Road at the corner of Dodge Park Road. This is the same location as last year.

There will be two bike rides at 10:00 am: Ray Carpenter will lead a

leisurely 8-10 mph ride through the park. Rita will lead a 12-14 mph ride on surrounding roads. Both rides will return in plenty of time for the picnic at 2:00.

The club will provide the hamburgers and brats expertly cooked to order by chefs Evelyn and Aloys. Please bring a dish to share and your own non-alcoholic beverage. To reserve your spot, please call Carol Sustrich (586-677-9106) by July 1st to let her know how many will attend and the passing dish you plan to bring. IF NO ANSWER, PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE WITH THIS INFORMATION.

We have the pavilion reserved from 8:00am to 9:00pm--so come early (even if you are not riding) and enjoy the games, take a walk on the trails, talk with friends, or just relax in the outdoors. Please bring any lawn or table games you may have and would like to share with other club members.
